Home Sweet Home
This was a participatory Installation-Workshop made of over 100 miniature paper houses arranged on the gallery floor as an imaginary village or a town. A number of these houses had images drawn onto them by me; these drawings are images of objects that for me symbolize the concept of identity and home.
The rest of the houses were devoid of any drawing as during the interactive workshops participants projected their own images onto the houses by drawing and painting. These houses got merged with the original installation, as each paper house produced by a participant replaced one of the blank houses in the installation.
